Is the jewelry water-proof? Will my jewelry rust or tarnish?


All our jewelry is considered waterproof and tarnish-resistant! We use IP Plating which stands for Ion plating. This is a Physical vapor deposition (PVD) process and the jewelry is plated with at least 0.1 micron of 14K Gold or Silver, plus e-coating which qualifies it to pass waterproof tests.

If you wear our jewelry every single day- in the shower and the bed, then you'll find that the color will not fade for at least six months. We do however recommend removing your jewelry when you shower and sleep, and keeping it away from water and lotion only to ensure that the color of the plating does not fade over time. It is costume jewelry and not solid gold so the color will fade over time. We offer a 1 year warranty on all our jewelry so if you have any issues, just email us for a replacement!


How do I take care of my jewelry?

 

All our jewelry is made from plated brass so we suggest that you avoid contact with moisture and liquids; this includes water, lotion, sunscreen, and perfume to ensure to longevity of the plating. Our jewelry is not solid gold so it can fade over time. If you need to clean your jewelry, use a soft cloth to wipe away dirt.

 

 

How fast will my order ship?

 

We typically ship all web orders within 1-2 business days that they are placed. Orders in the US will ship Fed Ex 2 Day Air and arrive to you within two business days from the date it has shipped. All international orders (outside of the US) will arrive to you within 6-12 business days, depending on your location and customs delays. We ship via Passport Shipping and duties are included in the price of the shipping.

How much does shipping cost?

 

US orders- we offer free domestic shipping for orders over $150. Otherwise, we offer $7 flat rate shipping for Fed Ex 2 Day Air.

 

International Orders- all our shipping rates are calculated based on your actual address, but most rates will fall between $25-$35 US dollars.

Do you ship orders to the UK & EU? If so, how will orders be shipped?

Yes, we ship to the UK & EU. To get your order to you, we've partnered with Passport Shipping and they will be the Seller for all orders to the UK for orders under £135 and orders to the EU for orders €150 and Under.

 

 

Are duties and taxes included in my order?

 

If you select Passport Shipping, duties are included in the cost of shipping. If you select Fed Ex, they are not.

 

 

When will my pre-order ship?

 

All pre-order items should have their estimated ship date noted on the product page, and in your order confirmation email. If you can’t find it, email orders@luvaj.com for more information.

 

 

How do I cancel or update my order?

 

Please email orders@luvaj.com and we can handle this for you! Try to email us before 2pm PST so we can insure that it is changed before we ship your order out.

 

 

How do I track my order?

What happens if my order is lost or stolen?

 

We are excited to offer Route Shipping Insurance on all our orders! You can opt-in at checkout to pay a small fee to insure your order. Adding Route Package Protection to your order at checkout means that your order is protected against being lost, damaged, or stolen. In the unfortunate instance that you experience one of these inconveniences, you can report an issue with Route and they will work with you to make sure you get the resolution you prefer. How do I return or exchange my order?

You will need your order number + shipping zip code. Your order number can be found on either your email confirmation or packing slip, included in your order.

My item arrived damaged- what do I do?

How do I figured out my ring size?

Can you ship my order as a gift?

 

Yes! Actually all our orders are shipped in Luv Aj jewelry boxes and we do not include any paperwork with pricing, so no need to worry.
